Top 3 activities on cold days in Mallorca
It’s weird, but it’s true: there are cold days in Mallorca. Even though the winter is not really long on the island, we do have to accept that the cold also gets to Mallorca. The only difference with other countries is that the sun doesn’t stop shining, which makes winter a lot easier!
But let’s get back to the main ‘issue’: what to do on cold or rainy days on the island? We’ll help with that.
3 activities to do on cold days in Mallorca
You already know that all of our Pabisa Hotels go on a Winter break, but some of them open really quickly, in wintertime, as it is perfect weather for cyclists from all over Europe. BUT what you don’t know is that if you’re not into cycling there are a lot of things that you can still do!
Discover Palma’s food markets
In Palma you will find two traditional food markets where you will be able to taste what Mallorca really tastes like! Both – Mercat de Santa Catalina and Mercat de l’Olivar- are home to different stalls filled with fresh products from the island. You can eat there too!
And if you’re more in the mood of going on a tapas tour, you can head to Palma’s gastronomic markets: ‘1930’ or ‘Mercado Gastronómico de San Juan’. At these markets you won’t find fresh products, but you will find food stalls with amazing tapas and more!
Play bowling in Palma
If you’re visiting Mallorca with a group of friends, your significant other or the whole family, a bowling afternoon is always a great idea. ‘Mallorca Bowling’ is the biggest bowling alley in the capital city of the Balearic Island. And in case you don’t want to just go bowling, there’s a large space filled with games and activities to extend the fun!
Go shopping
Of course, we couldn’t finish our recommendation of three activities to do while it is cold in Mallorca without sending you on a shopping spree. We’ve told you many times before that Palma is a vibrant city when it comes down to shopping.
And you will find a large number of pedestrian streets to walk around and find what you’re looking for!
