We round off the 2014 season with a flourish

Although it’s been a while coming, it seems that finally autumn’s here. The weather in Playa de Palma is always pleasant, but the first rainy spells have arrived and in the streets there are much fewer visitors. The beach is lovely, but we miss the summer in Mallorca, the festivals and, most of all, the people.

We had a fabulous time this summer! Many new faces but also many old friends from past years. You always come with dazzling smiles and putting your best foot forward for a really great holiday in Mallorca.

Now we can say that this summer of ’14 has gone off brilliantly. All our hotels full to capacity during the season and brisk demand for our apartments in Playa de Palma close to the best ambience.

Lots of sunshine and warmth, and the beaches and small seafront bars have been full each day. Spending an evening at Bierkönig has been one of your favourite pastimes. The perfect place for sharing experiences and travellers’ tips, and of course, the best place in all of Playa de Palma for enjoying a nice cool beer beside the sea.

You’ve also joined us at our themed dinners, a buffet option through which you’ve been able to discover cooking styles from around the world without going out of our hotel in Mallorca (Playa de Palma). Our red carpet and the Hollywood gala-buffet photocall filled up every Saturday night to enjoy the best silver-screen set meals.

By night, one of the names on everyone’s lips for enjoying a great party was Oberbayern. This club threw the best summer parties for you, dancing to the best beats played by the best DJs.

Another place that was all the rage this year was our Beach Park, a fabulous spot from which to enjoy the sea breeze and sunshine while breakfasting, lunching or dining. On match days, you all came to support your team. And the children enjoyed themselves immensely playing mini golf with dinosaurs for company.

During the mornings, many of you cyclists who come to enjoy the island with Pabisa Bikes make a pit stop at the Beach Park because you know that’s where you can get the best brunches in the area.
