Pabisa Hotels take part in the leading European travel trade fair

In less than a month from now all the Pabisa family hotels will open their doors, ready to start the new season.

But the opening of our hotels is preceded by a lengthy preparation process that takes place during wintertime. When our activity is in its lowest ebb, and only the Pabisa Bali remains open, we have the time to evaluate the previous season, identify areas that can improve, and put forward new ideas for enhancement and innovation.

One of the best ways to improve is to share experiences with peers and have a first-hand opportunity to discover the latest trends and developments. To do this, our Mallorca-based hotel chain has participated in some of the most prestigious and longest-running European tourism fairs.

In October we visited the Belgian tourism fair Jetair RoadShow (Brussels), and in January we participated in four other trade fairs: Messe Wien, Luxair Vakanz, Fespo Zurich (where we learned a lot about sports tourism), and the renowned international tourism fair held in Spain: Fitur (Madrid). At all of them we established valuable contacts with other professionals, shared experiences and gave out lots of promotional material to the European public to help them remember us.

Soon, from 4th to 8th March, we will be visiting Germany to attend what is considered the world’s biggest tourism fair: the ITB Berlin travel fair.

Another of our winter projects was to make a significant commitment to quality and customer service. One of our hotels, Pabisa Chico, has obtained both ISO 9001: 2008 quality certification and the prestigious TUI Holly 2015, an award the German tour operator gives out annually to its customers’ most popular hotels.
