Take advantage of Mallorca’s nice weather and get the most out of Playa de Palma

Autumn’s already here, but the weather in Mallorca’s still giving us pleasant temperatures and sunny days. Many visitors choose this time of year to enjoy the tail end of the tourist season, when the activities are almost the same as in the summer, but the place is much less busy. Because Mallorca in October is delightful, and we’re going to show you why.

You’ll still find all the music and fun at Playa de Palma. Up until 12th October, Bierkönig, one of Mallorca’s best-known beer gardens, is holding the big Oktoberfest festival in Playa de Palma. Enjoy the authentic spirit of Bavaria at a festival where traditional gastronomy, regional costumes, beer and music will make you feel like you’re in the heart of Munich but… by the seaside and with better weather!

You’ll also be able to visit one of Europe’s best sea parks, Palma Aquarium in Playa de Palma. Take a tour of its 50+ aquariums, and go around all the oceans in a day. Make sure you get to see the Gran Azul (Big Blue tank), the deepest for sharks in the whole of Europe, which gives you the sensation of swimming underwater thanks to the transparent tunnels that go through it.

In October, when the heat drops a notch or two, Mallorca becomes a destination for many sportspeople who come here to practise outdoor sports such as running, trekking and cycling.
