New, cutting edge services for Playa de Palma
With a 6 km expanse of sand, Playa de Palma is one of Majorca’s best-known and most noted tourist areas, and a favourite destination for countless Europeans, especially Germans.
It has been quite some time since the first hotels were built and the first bars opened, and, despite the natural evolution that Playa de Palma has experienced, after 50 years of continuous activity, it is generally agreed that the time has come to carry out a series of improvements.
In this sense, the corresponding studies were carried out, generating a torrent of ideas, which were eventually shaped into a document known as the Playa de Palma Integral Restructuring Plan and which has recently received a provisional stamp of approval.
But what does it actually mean? Essentially, that major public and private investments will be made in the area over a 10 year period in order to improve the standard of services available in Playa de Palma and guarantee its continued position as a leading destination.
The project includes aspects related to urban planning, improvements to infrastructures and services and enhanced environmental sustainability. Some of the numerous measures designed for gradual implementation are related to street lighting and sewage systems, the creation of more and improved green areas and adherence to the aesthetics of the local constructions. Further details of the various interventions planned are available at the following website.
As for the private sector, the hotels in Playa de Palma will be doing everything we can to renew our facilities, incorporating the latest sector innovations in order to maintain the standards of excellence in our services and guarantee you a truly memorable stay with us.
One of the areas that Pabisa Hotels has already turned its attention to is the project for free WiFi in Playa de Palma. With this initiative we will provide WiFi coverage to our guests throughout the area. We are determined to become the first tourist destination to offer this service totally free of charge 365 days a year, potentially positioning us as the world’s first AENOR certified smart destination.
You are our priority, and we will continue to improve to ensure our consolidated position as your first choice for your holiday in Playa de Palma.
