Discover Mallorca: Playa de Muro

We love Mallorca. It’s a stunning island you have to visit at least once. Or twice. Or three times if possible. Ok, let’s just do it every year. Agreed? And when you come visit and stay with us at Playa de Palma, we will be really happy to recommend all kinds of activities in the area, in addition to lovely spots to discover in our surroundings. And then, when you’ve got the area covered, we would recommend you to take some time and enjoy the island, as there are plenty of spectacular places to see!

Today we would like you to visit Mallorca’s North and spend the day at one of the longest beaches on the island: Playa de Muro.

Playa de Muro is a beautiful six kilometres long Blue Flag, white sandy beach in the north of Mallorca. It is divided into four different sectors. All of them stand out for its calm and clear, shallow turquoise waters and fine golden sand, making it ideal for families.

What we really like about Playa de Muro is that there are tons of restaurants right at the beach, making it perfect for having a nice Mediterranean lunch with your toes in the sand and then just napping the afternoon away under the Majorcan sun.

When you’re ready to have a little adventure, you can always rent some paddleboats or have some pure beach fun at this sandy beach offering all kinds of fun stuff to do for families.
